General Maintenance
Cleaning your home’s HVAC system every 3-5 years will keep the system running efficiently and effectively. Regular cleaning also stops your indoor air quality from deteriorating from an unhealthy buildup of dust and debris. For your home and your health, you need Bee’s.
All sorts of things can and do fall down vents, it’s not just dust and dirt. We’ve seen toys, CDs, soda cans, even food! And that doesn’t even include the bugs and animals that sometimes get in there. We recommend a routine cleaning every 3 to 5 years to keep things well maintained and keep the air that’s circulated in your home as fresh as possible. Like any machine, if you properly maintain it, it will last longer. Dirt and debris can get in the small moving parts of the system and cause wear and tear which will, over time, shorten the lifespan of your HVAC system. Regular cleaning will help keep that wear and tear to a minimum.
If you also have an A/C unit it is a good idea to also have that cleaned. Since this part of your system is wet, contaminants can build up on your evaporator coil. This build up can also cause your system to work harder and use more energy. Getting it regularly cleaned will prevent that, which will both improve your home’s air quality and cause less strain on your energy consumption.
